All Engel Coolers feature compression latches for an airtight seal, a proprietary weight dispersement system in the lid, all silicone gaskets, non-marking feet, a tapered interior for quick and easy draining, and a non-slip lid that can be used as a casting station. They are also "IGBC Certified Bear Resistant Containers".
